Help! Motion Graphics Not Compatible Error

Posted this over in Premiere but wanted to ask here as well:  

I am trying to drag and drop a motion graphic into my timeline, but every time I try it says that it is not compatible with my version of premiere and to update to the latest version.  

My Premiere and AE are both up to date.

This happens with every graphic I try to pull over from the adobe stock essential graphics tab, both free and paid.

“My Templates” work just fine.

I’ve tried resetting my preferences and also deleting the media cache
