How do I cancel my plan?

I remember once I tried to download Adobe for a free trial to see if I'd use it or not, but I ended up not using it and deleted it right there at the moment. Then I went to cancel my plan, I thought I did cancel it, but it turns out it didn't register the cancelation. Now I'm stuck paying $30 month for a year. I don't want to keep paying for shyt i don't have or use. And if I try to cancel it it says i need to pay $142 more to cancel my plan. Is there other ways to cancel it?

Adobe is the company, not the product. And as you say that you "downloaded Adobe" I suppose, you downloaded Acrobat, as many people confound Acrobat with Adobe. You posted, however, in the Adobe stock forum, which is a service and not a program. So if you could confirm the program you downloaded, I could move this to the correct place.

Anyhow, what service or program you booked, the following is true in all cases:

If you have cancelled your plan, you got a cancellation confirmation. If you did not get that confirmation, you did not cancel. Uninstalling a program does not cancel the subscription. As you have an annual subscription, cancellation at any moment is possible, however you have to pay half of the remaining due, as you do not want to continue the subscription until the end of your contract. Anyhow, it's cheaper to cancel now, than to continue paying for a product that you do not use. If you do not cancel, the subscription auto-renews at the end of your term.

My Adobe Stock images subscription renews in 2 days. I want to cancel but there will be a $60.00 early cancellation fee if I do. And the subscription will renew for another year if I don't.

Can somebody help me with this?

There should be no early cancellation fee in the final month of the subscription. If you're unable to cancel without incurring that subscription, use the chat box on this page to determine your options. If the chat bot doesn't answer your question, type "agent" in the chat box to reach a real, live person.

It's most definitely NOT a scam. When you enter into an annual subscription, or any subscription for that matter, you should read the T&C's carefully. Canceling prior to the end of the subscription term is subject to early cancelation fees. Many SaaS products (not just Adobe products) are offered in this manner. If you have any proof of your early cancelation you can present that to Adobe to negotiate a reduction in the cancelation fees.
