I am trying to listen to the stock audio previews - all are garbled

System is a Mac running Monterey.  Trying to play a preview in the browser or by downloading to play back in Quicktime is just garbled noise.  I don't want to waste an asset as a test.  How do I get the previews not to sound like high speed garble?

That sounds like a setting on your computer. If you have a specific asset, I can try on my computer.

Thank you, you are correct.  I just finished removing two audio tools and the issue is now gone.  I expect that something changed in them and they no longer work since the last upgrade.  Your willingness to help is sincerely appreciated.
