Hi,

I'm going to use a Stock Image I downloaded (with a standard licence) as a cover for a single to be released on all major music platforms (Spotify, Appla music, etc.). Do I need to upgrade to an extended licence or is a standard one enough? Thank you!

Correct answer Abambo

Question: If the asset is the major reason to buy or listen to your songs, then yes. But if that is the case, you should simply stop making music 😉 . So, the correct answer should be: a standard licence all you need.

(Disclaimer: As always with licensing, this is my interpretation of the rules. I think they are correct and advice is based on reading and interpreting the licence terms and on fair use for both the buyer and the artist/stock company, but I cannot rule out that my interpretation is wrong. I'm not an Adobe employee).
