Most economic way to purchase premium photo

I have a subscription, which I have discovered does not cover "premium" photos. I really want this particular "premium" photo, but it runs at $499.99, which is far beyond what I can afford. However, I'm confused about how credit packs works. Can I purchase this premium photo with credits? When I click the "pricing" tab, it leads me to believe I can pay $49.99 for one credit, which is enough to buy this premium photo(?). If this is true, how come premium photos don't display the cost in credits?

I apologize for the confusion here, as I overlooked the pricing of the file/ image you have posted above. The information about 5 credits at $49.99 was a general information wherein you get 1 premium image.

So to answer your question, firstly I would like to let you know that each premium image has a different pricing. The file ID (113193596) which you require costs $499.99 so you may either purchase the image on-demand for $499.99 or you may buy a credit pack and use 50 credits to purchase the image (as mentioned by Bev).

Hi Justin,

I have checked your account details and noticed that you have 10 images a month(one-year) plan which do not include premium assets.

Premium assets, such as videos, Premium collections images, and editorial images or videos, can be licensed on-demand or using credits from a credit pack.

You may also refer to Common Questions about plans, purchasing, and availability, Adobe Stock for more details.

Credit packs are different from the subscription model, you need to purchase the credit packs as per your requirements. The lowest credit pack comes for $49.99 and it contain 5 credits through which you can purchase 1 Premium image (as per your need). Please refer  to the link below to know more about the price details.

Hope this information helps!

Thanks for your help. So help me better understand, because I think there is a conflicting answer from Beverley. To buy this premium $499.99 photo, do I need to spend $49.99 on 5 credits, or do I need to spend $499.99 on 50 credits? Sorry for being so slow to understand.
