Question about the standard license

Hi!

I was told that the purchaser of an image with the standard license can use the image on a website OR on social media, but not both at the same time. Is that correct?

Thanks!

Markus

Correct answer Abambo

That is incorrect. According to the licensing terms you can use the image as well on your website and at the same time or differed on your social media account.  You just can't use an image licensed for customer A for customer B without licensing a second time, regardless of the application.

(Disclaimer: As always with licensing, this is my interpretation of the rules. I think they are correct and advice is based reading and interpreting the license terms and on fair use for both the buyer and the artist/stock company, but I can not rule out that my interpretation is wrong. I'm not an Adobe employee)

Thank you for your explanation.

In this way I may use the standard licensed images on my Instagram-Account, my Facebook-Account and on my Twitter-Account?

I like to create photos with the edited stock images and a cite of my novel as postcard in a nice surrounding. May I post this photo on ALL my Social media Accounts?
