Question

Report undeclared composite fake images

There isn’t an option in the “create a post” to report an image.

This photo asset ID 411314525 is a composite showing a location that DOES NOT EXIST, see the Snopes entry.

If we had a “Report a problem” with the image at point of use, it would be much more efficient than spending time trying to figure out how to report this in a forum that may or may not be seen. I’ll see if I can copy and paste this post into some post that doesn’t really have a category.

This reminds me of the classic map taken from a New Yorker’s point of view. It’s called artistic license.

So frustrating to use images that aren’t flagged as comps or fakes, like this https://stock.adobe.com/au/images/tokyo-city-at-sunset/498231018

I’m sure @Contributor1 cat take care of this.

A real shame that we have these cheaters that try to cheat the system. In the end, no one wins.

It is against the rules to register something generated by AI as a normal photo, but compositing or drawing on it using Photoshop or other software is not a problem under Adobe Stock rules.

Graphics created by AI, with the labels included, are still showing up in my “Exclude generative AI” search parameters.

There is no method that I’m aware of to report false/misleading images in the Adobe Stock database. I believe there is an assumption of “buyer beware”, which is particularly important now that many AI images purport to be locations to which there is no resemblance.

Thanks for your reply. Last year before the exclude Gen AI filters were an option and I had a similar complaint in another thread, the community moderator said we should create a forum post to report images or accounts using undeclared AI, or for bad or misleading content. You are correct, there is no option at point of use within the image information to report the image.

It felt like a way to redirect issues so users who were asking for a “report this image” button could be distracted from repeatedly requesting this badly needed feature.

I actually sifted through my email and replied to that thread AND made this post based on the suggestion.

If the asset is an undeclared generative AI asset, it could be reported here. If there are quality issues, they can be reported here. If it’s just using wrong location, my information is, that Adobe won’t remove the asset.
