Sexulised content in Adobe Stock photo

There is an overwhelming amount of sexualised imagery on Adobe Stock, (in using neutral search terms) and there is no safe search filter or way to report images. As a designer, I often find it difficult to locate appropriate content without being bombarded by images that feel overly suggestive or objectifying. (It occurs nearly every time I use the site for work)

It would be great to see this all removed and improvements put in place to prevent this from re-occurring.

Several months ago, Adobe did remove all nudes from the database. At the same time, they removed the safe search filter specifically introduced for such assets. Please note that what may be sexualised imagery for you may be innocent assets for someone else. It is difficult to draw a line here.

As I agree that there are occasions where unrelated assets pop up during a search, and you have times where more suggestive assets are popping up during a search, I do not think that the images remaining in the database are more sexualised than what you find currently in any magazine available without age constraints.

(Please note that I'm not an Adobe employee, and that above is my personal opinion.).

This sentiment is shared by not only me as you can find other threads on the community that indicate the issue.
If someone is putting up pictures up women's groins and showing uncovered parts and buttocks and portraying women in a sexualised sexisut manner it is unprofessional and not good for society in general.

this is is a 'level' that isn't portrayed on shutter stock and istock and getty and for a professional platforms such as Adobe Stock this needs to be addressed.

Also in general whether or not something is offensive is not to be deemed okay by people who are creating offensive content.

'Not everyone finds that offensive' is a dismissal from the real issue that the

normalisation of sexualised content in what’s supposed to be a professional resource is not advantageous.

I've tested that. I get sexualized pictures with safe search on. Safe search off gets more pictures.

I'm not approving it. I'm just noting.

Sure. But as I said: some time ago, Adobe did remove nudes from their database. I'm sure that they have leftovers that they did not detect all the offensive images. You can report them here.

I just want to post these pictures of advertising for perfume:

Highly professional… highly sexualized… and you find it in your preferred magazine.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
