Question

Sharing PRPROJ files including licensed graphics

Hello,

I am a freelance video editor using Premiere Pro to edit short advertisements and I tend to use a lot of Adobe Stock templates. Recently I completed a project and the client requested the project/source file along with the final product because they may need to adjust the text later down the line after a change in brand messaging.

What would be the procedure in order to share project files including the Essential Graphics I licensed? Surely if I have already paid for the graphics licensing, the client will not have to license them again.

If this is NOT the case, is there anything I can do to ensure the client gets the full editable project file and everything included? Thank you in advance for your advice. I look to this forum for help and I appreciate all the support I can get.

For any stock licenced items, you will need to get your customer accepting the Adobe licencing terms or terms of your making, that are at least as stringent as the Adobe terms. I'm such a customer too, always asking the source files, because we want to reuse footage in different other films. We negotiate that at the beginning of the project, so the stakes are clear. Normally, the filmmakers do a mix between their own licence terms and the terms of the stock company, they use to licence parts of the project videos/sound/images.

See here for the Adobe's recommendation to handle this:
