stock cancellation fee

I would not recommend this service to anyone and while I appreciate I had 14days to unsubscribe, I was not aware there were hidden costs for an early cancellation as I assumed there would have been a monthly bill and worst case I'd pay for 1 month or 2 not a crazy total amount of 195CHF all for using just 1 image.

It's part of the terms and conditions that you explicitly accepted. You took an annual subscription and so you promised to pay 12 monthly allocations (in my case it is €30×12 + VAT).

If you cancel early, you pay an early termination fee of half of the remaining due. When you took the plan, you got an e-mail with all the conditions attached.

So you cannot “not being aware” of the terms, except if you didn't read, what you subscribed too. I agree that it hurts, when you are not aware of such a fee, but the alternative would be to continue the service until the end and cancel the last month, without cancellation fee.

The alternative would have been to take a monthly subscription. The subscription price is higher, and you can cancel anytime, without a fee.

A different alternative are credit packs, completely without a subscription.

This knowledge doesn't help you, but it may help others who want to take a subscription and get the information they need. I doubt that there is a possibility for a refund, surly not for the months you had the subscription, as you did license assets. If anyone can help, it is customer care.
