Stock Images Used for Game Logo?

Hi all,

I have got my self confused looking through all the licence conditions for stock images and was hoping someone more informed could provide guidance. I fully understand that you cannot use stock images for a company logo. I am looking to create a game logo for a title we are looking to release digitally on Meta.

I originally thought, its a logo so I cant. I moved onto the Adobe Game Logo creater and found it allows you to use Stock Images for backgrounds (basically what I wanted to do for our game logo)??

Just hoping someone can provide some opinions / guidance please. The stock image we are looking to use would just be used as a background to our game logo.

Short answer is that you really need to hire someone to make your own logo. The stuff in here should not be marked as a logo as you can't use clip art as a personal logo, company logo and other. If you can't afford someone in the usual way you can always hire a student. But then you get what you paid for.

If the asset is not part of your logo, you can use it, if it is part, you can't, as you can't claim an exclusive.
