Question

Stock photo credit attribution in publications when image is part of a composite

Hello!

I'm trying to get a clear answer on the proper way to credit Adobe Stock when an image is the base of a composite image. The image is being used on the back cover of a printed nonfiction book.

I've searched online but answers are very inconsistent. I hoped that going to the source might be more useful.

Thanks so much!

What is your exact question?

You should credit correctly, when you credit. Credit is needed if a considerable part of the backcover image is from the stock image.

(You should change your screen name here for your security. It should not include your e-mail address.)

Hello!

Thank you so much for the reply, and for the tip regarding my profile. For the many years I've used Adobe products I've never posted in the communities.

I was only trying to make sure that I didn't need to clarify that the image was edited, in case a person saw it and wanted to use the same image (perhaps an unlikely scenario). I didn't know if I needed to add that the image was modified.

Thanks again for your help.

You still need to change your screen name here. Even if you are new to the fora here! You do so here: https://account.adobe.com/profile.
