Stock Photos for Professor(s) Search

Good morning Adobe Community,

When I searched for Professor or professors' photos, the number of white men and white men with white hair was disheartening. Yes, there were women, mostly white women and people of color, but the OVERWHELMING number of pictures were of white men. It was a cliche to see many images of white men with books. Doesn't anyone vet the photos? Yes, I'm sure I could search for people of color who were professors, but when left to a generic search, it was probably spitting up 20 or 30 images of white guys for every black or brown "professor." Adobe, don't indulge in cliches!

Diversity is a complex field and Adobe is spending resources to get a better and more diverse portfolio.

However, assets on Adobe stock are contributed by third party contributors (like me). Pictures are vetted for technical issues, but Adobe moderators can only accept pictures that get added by contributors. Adobe does an effort to get a diverse set of assets, as there is a need for that, but it is dependant on what contributors contribute. I personally could contribute probably female professors, but I would have problems to contribute non-white persons in this configuration, as I am in an predominantly white community.
