Question

Suspecting AI generated image but not labeled as such

This vector illustration seems AI-generated, despite of not have been labeled as such, despite of my search filters.

The edges of the elements are not clear or defined, shapes are generally messy and unprofessional, the background elements do not exist and removing foreground elements only creates holes in the background.
As such, the file is unusable professionally.

I ask for removal of this file from Adobe Stock and potential banning of the uploader.

When removing elements there is nothing behind them so no one human created this file

This contributor also seems to have 100s of unmarked images : https://stock.adobe.com/lv/contributor/210222791/iren-art?load_type=author&prev_url=detail

while floral photos are hard to proove, the dragon fly images gives the deal away: https://stock.adobe.com/lv/images/minimalist-cyanotype-dragonfly-wings-with-translucent-wings-in-deep-prussian-blue-tones-elegant-photogram-with-subtle-organic-details-and-soft-texture-featuring-large-negative-space/2004248975?prev_url=detail

why would the dragon fly have 3 wings on one side and miss front leg on the other side? Also the sheer amount of all the floral artsy images. Looks like account is loaded full with AI images that are not marked as AI.

This one is marked https://stock.adobe.com/lv/images/minimal-cyanotype-butterfly-with-translucent-wings-detailed-photogram-in-deep-prussian-blue-tones-elegant-alternative-photography-with-fine-textures-and-soft-gradients-ideal-for-modern-design/1993149016 as AI, but most of the images on the account are not.

What do I do after clicking the refund link? It’s unclear.

These days, it seems like MOST assets are generated by AI, not labeled as such, and the only way to report it is by the FRANKLY ARCHAIC method of copying the info and posting it in this forum. ABSURD. UNACCEPTABLE. TRASH.

It is possible that a raster image was traced, so it is impossible to determine whether it was created using AI.
I believe that items with quality issues—such as having too many anchor points or irregular lines—should be subject to re-evaluation.

I sincerely doubt that it was a raster image that was traced, because the trees have their shadowy side where the sun hits them and there are several color inconsistencies across the image and mistakes a human would generally not make. If there is an original, higher quality raster image somewhere that someone knows of that they want to share as evidence supporting the theory, I’ll be curious to see it because I’m sure I’d do a better job tracing it if that was the case.

Regardless of whether the poor quality of the image is due to a mediocre source image that was poorly traced or generated by AI, it is unacceptable that Adobe doesn’t have a simple pipeline to flag poor quality images and quickly prevent other users from being confronted with poor quality assets.
It is obviously in Adobe’s interest to crowdsource stock quality flagging/removal through their users in a quick and efficient manner to prevent out of control and exponential polluting of their product.
