The inequality of visual access between countries in Adobe Stock.

Hello,

A few months ago, I purchased an Adobe Stock plan. However, I couldn't find the type of visual material I wanted. The other day, I accidentally noticed that this is a situation specific to Turkey. When I searched with the same keywords, selecting Germany as the location, I got 509,556 results, while the search from Turkey yielded only 492 results. Yes, you read it right, I was able to access 1,200 times more visuals from Germany than from Turkey.

This difference is not an acceptable one. I urgently request a solution to be produced. I cannot find and use visuals as I wish, and my rights in the plan are waiting in vain...

They provided me with additional rights to assist me from Adobe customer service, but what matters most is being able to access and license a significant number of visuals.

Sincerely, Şakir

You are not addressing Adobe directly here in the Forum, so will not receive a response from them here. There are image restrictions in Turkey, but I've never learned why. Presumably it is a legal issue, but I can't confirm.

Thank you for the responses.

I believe Adobe should take into consideration the content accessible in the country where I am located when selling a plan. If they cannot address the issue of me, as a user in another country, only having access to a tiny fraction (exactly 1/1200) of the content, it will not be possible for them to increase plan sales. Especially when other stock sites offer unlimited content.

Best regards

At the very least, they should reveal the limited inventory of licenseable assets in your country to you before you enter into a subscription.

Adobe won't answer this, as it implicates legal liability. From what I have found out and from what I suspect, is that Adobe needs for certain countries, to do a special vetting for assets. Turkey is, as of my experience, one of those restricted countries. It's not Adobe's choice to restrict your access to certain assets, but it's local laws. And as the restriction is the same for all restricted countries, it's the most stringent that will determine, what is open for sales in your country.

Your chance, however is, that only the best get vetted, based on their download numbers in other countries. You won't see the baddest assets in the database, the one nobody buys.
