'This Asset No Longer Available'

I'm attempting to redownload a stock image (FILE #:  268873892). I understand that the image owner may pull the availability of an stock image and if I've lost my local file I'm probably out of luck. 

I would like to know if there's anyway to contact the artist direct for purchase/licencsing options.

No, there is no such possibility. If you still have the asset (but no more in the original quality), you can use, however, Google image search. If you are lucky, the asset may be found on a private site of the author.
