Unlabeled AI Generated Images are Taking over Stock

I have complained to Adobe support on this matter multiple times with specific examples of accounts that are uploading HORDES of AI generated art, not labeled as AI generated. Despite the fact that I disagree completely with including AI generated work in a paid service like stock, having a filter that keeps all that garbage out of my search results is a fine solution...if it worked. Instead, even with that filter checked, I still get an absurd about of obviously AI generated work. None of this stuff is usable; 99 percent of it isn't even quality enough for me to want to pay for it let alone have it take over the service I use for my business. Sifting through stock is hard enough, sifting through all this garbage that looks okay in a thumbnail but terrible full scale is the worst experience I've ever had with a stock service, period.

Would you mind publishing your search query here and the filter settings?

Hi @Abambo ,

Not the original poster, but I have the same problem. A lot of these AI generated assets are marked as "AI/EPS" files also. Open them with Illustrator and all you have is a jpeg or PNG that is AI generated. Here is an example:

https://stock.adobe.com/in/images/set-game-wooden-boards-and-branches-liana-and-tropical-leaves-old-paper-rope-decorated-vector-cartoon-set-of-wood-panels-timber-boards/566231714

You can see a lot of assets from this user are marked as Vector, with source files. But none of them are actual editable source files.

I answered on your other thread, but I will repeat it here for others to read too:

Currently, the only allowed method to post generative AI is as pixel graphics in the illustrations sections. There is a range of conditions, that a contributor needs to fulfil, when submitting generative Art. So, vector generative AI is currently not supported. There are reports of contributors who got banned because they manually vectorized generative AI.

This said, it was always prohibited to embed pixel graphics with vector art. So, a vector asset needs to be a pure vector asset, according to the rules. And there is a moderation team, that should refuse non-conforming assets. It is quite difficult to check vector assets, but at least detecting pixel graphics should be easy.
