Can't believe Adobe doesn't check if a file is vector or jpg. Just because the artist pasted a jpg into an

Illustrator file doesn't make it an ai or eps

Another user just posted on the same topic, with explicit data: https://community.adobe.com/t5/stock-discussions/this-claimed-to-be-a-vector-download-but-it-s-just-a-raster-and-it-s-obviously-ai-too/td-p/14755458

There are still many, many unlabeled genAI images on the site.

@AlanGilbertson,

It's not that rare. The asset ID of the one in your link points to a quite recent asset. Either the cotributor submitted the wrong asset, like his preparation, or they really did that on purpose. In all cases, moderation should have cought the asset and refused it.

Given that the asset in question is quite obviously an AI-generated raster image, and the entirety of that contributor's portfolio consists of genAI content, it was no accident.

My sense is that moderation is completely overwhelmed and unable to keep up. There were more than 330,000 genAI images added to the site in the last 36 hours, according to the site stats, compared with a bit more than 23,000 actual photographs.

Confirm that you downloaded a fully licensed copy of the image and not just a preview. While it's possible a rogue raster image got through, previews of vector stock are always jpegs, even if the file extension is ".ai" or something similar. The reason for this should be self-evident.

Adobe does check the assets before putting them into the database, but as checking is done by humans, sometimes, erroneous files may pass.

Can you please post the number of the image so that it can be checked? None the less sometimes these unfortunately get though from time to time. No one is perfect.  Sorry about that.

 @Contributor1 will probably need to check this one out.
