Watermarks: The Adobe one has gone but there is still text on the image - help!

Hi

I'm new to Adobe Stock.  I just took a standard licence on an image: Watercolor Floral Background. Hand painted border of flowers. Good for invitations and greeting cards. Frame isolated on…

the Adobe watermark has gone however there is still text on the image "watercolour floral frame".  I am really hoping this is not part of the image and there is a way to get rid of it.  Can anyone help?

Thank you!

Naomi

FYI:

Licensing the image gets rid of the watermark, but any text on an image will stay. If the asset is a JPEG, you need a pixel image editor (any editor including Gimp will do the job). If the asset is an Ai/EPS/SVG file (vector), Adobe Illustrator is strongly recommended to use.

Other formats will need still other programs to edit, so have always a look to the file format.

The file as you say is a jpeg. You can edit the file in Photoshop, removing or "painting" over the area with the text. Otherwise you'll need to look for an .ai/eps file that can be edited in Illustrator. If you find you cannot use the jpeg as it is let me know and we can compensate you with a replacement license.

Hi

Thanks for your response.

In the end I have bought a Photoshop licence – it quite annoying that I have ended up spending so much money, but time was running out. All I am trying to do is create posters for our local village flower show!

If you still have text in the middle it is not big problem to remove it using Photoshop:

  • I will assume that image is in Libraries. Open Window > Libraries panel. Right click on image and choose: Edit.
  • Use Lasso tool to loosely select text.
  • With selection active go to  Edit > Fill > From Contents drop-down choose White then confirm on OK.
  • Deselect selection using Ctrl/Cmd + D.
  • Save changes using File > Save then close file.

If you still have problem let us know.

Hi Bojan

Thank you so much for trying to help me.  The image is downloaded as a .jpeg which doesn't allow me to edit the image.  When I click on my libraries, nothing appears to be there and the page won't load.  I am a beginner with Adobe Stock so this is exasperating!

Thank you

Naomi

Are you talking about Libraries panel in Adobe products or some other libraries? Can you post screenshot please with Photoshop window and Libraries panel visible?
