Question

Welche Lizenzierung für Werbeplakat

Hello all

I want to create a promotional poster with an Adobe Stock image. The image itself is a "decoration" in the background. It is not advertised as a product, nor is it advertised as a main product. Just as an eye catcher...

I can't find an answer to this question here in the forum.

Is a standard license enough?

And: Does the source have to be stated in the poster?

Would be really happy for an answer.

Hallo Zusammen.

IMHO: Standard.

Look here for more information on licensing: https://community.adobe.com/t5/stock/links-for-licensing-terms/td-p/11366788
(Disclaimer: As always with licensing, this is my interpretation of the rules. I think they are correct and advice is based on reading and interpreting the licence terms and on fair use for both the buyer and the artist/stock company, but I cannot rule out that my interpretation is wrong. I'm not an Adobe employee).

thank you for your answer. I'm facing the same problem. I can also interpret and if the pics are for myself, I wouldn't hesitate to use that images. However, this is for a customer and I definitely don't want him to have to be confronted with an admonition.

But thanks for taking the time to reply.

From a licensing perspective, there is no difference between a use for you or a customer's use. However, if you are transferring the physical image with your work, you should consider this: https://community.adobe.com/t5/stock-discussions/transfer-license-to-a-client/td-p/11990240. If you only transfer a print ready file or even more, you transfer the data directly to the printer and the printer delivers the printed advert, I wouldn't bother with that.

As for your second question: no! As it is not editorial use, you do not need to refer to Adobe stock or the author.
