Question

When licensing a collection, I only get the preview image?

I recently licensed a collection of wooden background textures but the only file I get is the preview with all the background textures mashed together? Whattup with that? It isn't the first time, but rather seems to be the case quite often. Can the collcetion be found elsewhere for download or is it just a stupid feature and I should stop trying to license collections?

Without knowing the file ID it would be difficult to troubleshoot this for you.

Hi Joel,

I'm sorry, the file you licensed is only available as a jpeg which is a flat file and has no layers. I've reported this file to our content team for review and granted you a replacement license. You'll need to choose a different file. You can check the file type under the asset details. You'll want a file that shows .ai/eps and you'll need Illustrator to view all of the file's components.
