Why are vector graphics pixellated?

It is frustrating to see so many vector graphics to be pixellated and only available as jpg format.

IMHO If Adobe wants these resources to be useful, they need to be available in editable formats.

Adobe: why are you offering such a limited (and possibly mislabeled) set of options?

Can you provide an Image number?

All vectors are .ai files and require Adobe Illustrator.
