why do I get copyright complaints on Youtube?

Hi,

migth be, there's something I don't understand...

In general I use music in my Youtube videos that I licensed via Adobe Stock, means I paid for the use, right? Right?

For several weeks now, whenever I upload a video including music from Adobe Stock (mostly by Epidemic Sound) I get a copyright complaint.

Could anyone please explain this to me? That sh** is f***ing annoying. If that's the new normal, it doesn't make any sense for me to pay a monthly subscription fee for Adobe Stock.

Do you agree?

Thanks,

Mike

The (c) owner has no idea that you have licensed the asset correctly. If, however, you have followed Adobe's guidance for publishing on Youtube, I think that either Youtube or the creator or Adobe has an error in their system. I would guess it would be Epidemic Sound in this case.

You may look here if you want to file a counter claim. https://www.adobe.com/legal/dmca.html. Be sure to use all opportunities that Youtube allows for counter claims beforehand.

Sure it's normal. It protects the exclusivity of what you pay for. So You need to respond to the copyright challenge with your license. Standard process.
