I have seen many responses in whcih Adobe says "No, you can't buy a single image, you must sign up to a subscrription plan." I understand why this is better for Adobne. I DO NOT understand why it is better for your customers. Can someone explain, please? Thanks.

For a version with fewer typos: "I have seen many responses in which Adobe says "No, you can't buy a single image, you must sign up to a subscription plan." I understand why this is better for Adobe. I DO NOT understand why it is better for your customers. Can someone explain, please? Thanks."

Personally, I think the reasoning is clear: Adobe cares for its customers' money, and not for its customers.

You can also buy Credit Packs, you do not need a subscription. As for the rest, it is a commercial decision from Adobe not to offer single image purchase plans. You need to know, that each transaction is generating fees and Adobe seems to think that single image sales will generate more fees then is good. So the smallest pack you can buy is 5 credits (to be used in a years time).
