Question

Why offer "banknote images" in Adobe Stock if you cannot use them in Adobe Photoshop?

I downloaded two different wallpapers https://stock.adobe.com/search/images?k=cash%2525252Bwallpaper&asset_id=126015203 and when I try to import them into Photoshop, they claim the app doesn't support the printing of banknotes. Then why offer them in Stock without at least a warning? This is super frustrating.

See restrictions concerning images of U.S. currency notes.

TIP: Cropping, resizing and/or converting to B&W might help.

Adobe stock and Adobe Photoshop are two different applications. Photoshop is using a mandatory third-party filter to detect a money pattern. If it gets detected, Photoshop will refuse to load that picture. You may try to blur the image a bit in a different photo editor. It may be possible to load it then into Photoshop to do whatever you want to do.
