8/17 - Adobe Express Download Issue

Did the Adobe Express download to pdf getting stuck at 90% get resolved from a week ago? I'm trying to download to pdf just now and after five or six failed attempts (inc with a blank doc with just the word test in) I'm now running the HAR report.

The HAR report is never ending - it's been going for over 15 mins. I don't understand what I'm looking at but it appears to be trying to do the same thing over and over. Just wondering what the status is with this please?

Hi @sarah_6198, thanks for posting! I’m consolidating some comments and threads from the past day here.

There was a fresh platform issue over the weekend (Sunday evening Pacific) where a backend service Express relies on for MP4, GIF, and PDF exports went down.

The good news: that issue dropped off late Sunday night, so exports should be working again now.

Before anything else, close and reopen Express and try your PDF download once more - for most people it'll just go through at this point. You can also try clearing cache/cookies or incognito mode to help ‘reset.’

If it's still failing after a reload, let me know here and we can dig in some more, but I just tested my own Express files and was able to download PDF’s successfully, so I’m hoping you’re all back up and running as well!

@Jubilant_friend745c  @Lindy378593488qso  - same answer applies to you both, since you're hitting the same weekend issue. Give it a try now that it's resolved and shout if you're still stuck.

I’m experiencing the same problem and receive the same message. Could I please receive support?

Hi, thanks for the update. When uploading, I now get a message on my screen:

Do you want to allow from “account.adobe.com” and “new.express.adobe.com”?

‘you can change which websites can download files files in the websites section of Safari settings’

    options are cancel or allow

@Jubilant_friend745c That's actually a good sign! That message is coming from Safari, not Express, and it only pops up when a download is going through.

You can go ahead and click Allow. That just tells Safari it's okay to let this site save files to your device, which is exactly what you want here - it'll save your Express download to your usual downloads folder. It's a standard browser prompt, nothing to do with the earlier issue.

Shout if anything else comes up!

I’m having the same issue for the first time. Downloads stuck at 90% and I have followed the instructions from previous support threads - which are closed. Frustrating. I have contacted support, one hour later still waiting for a phone call. My project deadline is today.

I have the same problem. I see that it was supposedly fixed and the thread was closed but it hasn’t been fixed.

My Adobe Express is stuck at 90% for any downloads for the past hour. Tried to dupliacted, recreate the project, nothing works. even in private navigation window

    I link the HAR capture

    Thanks a lot

re-uploading HAR file here for reference - thanks @Antoine28330482yda2 - I’m hoping it’s back up and running as the overall outage seems to have resolved. Can you try your exports again after closing/reopening Express and clearing your cache/cookies?

    Hi you two @Blissful_Butterflyab3e, @pgerner

I’m merging threads and I’m hoping this issue is resolved for you since there was an outage overnight that systems are recovering from. Can you clear your cache/cookies and try again fresh with your projects in Express?
