Hello,

I have created a file in adobe express and i have used an urdu word, it seems fine on screen but the downloaded file shows the text as much bigger than the screen versio and even worse the letters are jumbled up.

I have tried fixes such as

  • changing the font
  • adding a new text box
  • making the text box smaller

nothing is working! what is causing my issue.

Although Adobe Express do support Arabic/Urdu/Farsi/Kurdish to an acceptable extent, yet exporting the artwork which has the Arabic script to PDF will not work.

Hi @ayesha_7706. Here are some steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

Use a Supported Font for Urdu:

  • Make sure the font you're using supports Urdu script. Some fonts may not properly display or render non-Latin scripts like Urdu when exported, leading to misalignment or jumbled characters.
  • Try using fonts specifically designed for Urdu, such as "Noto Nastaliq Urdu" or "Jameel Noori Nastaleeq", which are more likely to support Urdu properly.

Recreate the Text Box:

  • If changing the font or adjusting the text box size didn’t work, try deleting the current text box completely and adding a new one with the same text. Sometimes, glitches can cause issues with the original text box, and starting fresh can help.

Let us know if you need more help! Thanks ^CA

Hi,

So sorry for the late reply. So I am using just Arabic letters and then trying a few ways. The 2 images show the original version and the the photograph shows the downloaded version- the letters are all jumbled up. It happens each way I download it but I am doing it as a pdf.
Thank you for your assistance

HI @ayesha_7706

Sorry to hear about your difficulties and thanks for trying the things you have. A few additional questions to better understand the issue.

- What is the font you're using? Is this an Adobe font you used?
- Would it be possible to share screenshots of the way it appeared in Adobe Express and how it appeared in the downloaded file to see the issue?
- What file format are you downloading it? jpg, PDF, etc.

Thanks for posting about the issue,

Dave
