Adobe Express Mobile: Important updates and device requirement changes

Hello, everyone!


We are making some updates to Adobe Express. As part of this, older versions of Adobe Express, Spark Page, and Spark Video will no longer be supported, and the minimum system requirements for mobile devices are changing.


What you need to know!

 

  • If you're using an older version of Adobe Express, Spark Page, or Spark Video, you'll need to update to the latest version and migrate your files. 
  • Rest assured, everything you've already created will move to the new platform and remain editable and intact. Migrated work can be found in Your Stuff folder.
  • If your device does not meet these requirements, you will not be able to update or use the new version of Adobe Express.

 

Note: Migrated Spark video projects will no longer be editable but can still be downloaded. They will also be exempted from the Adobe Express storage quota

 


Starting today, you may see pop-up messages about this update on your iOS or Android device.
The new app now requires at least 3GB RAM and iOS 17 or Android 10 to run.

Hello, Amitej S, how are you? So-Sorry for not replying to Adobe Company on my email 😞

I thought it was hackers copying Adobe's email. I'm sorry.

 

But after all, I'm very surprised that you guys responded to my feedback. Even if it's not 100% completed feedback, I have a lot to thank you for implementing at least 1 thing into practice: there's no more messy menus, just the create tab, the tab for our items and the tab for the "Adobe users' social network" (home menu). You guys really bring tears to my eyes with happiness! There are few companies that respond to feedback properly.

 

I hope I've helped in some way. Send me more updates, because I'll try to stay a little updated. God bless you and good luck with this wonderful update 🙂

BIG MISTAKE ... Adobe express is now trash.  It doesn't work 95% of the time and is a joke compared to the loved earlier version.  This will seriously tarnish your image as an innovative company. The person that created this hot mess should be fired.  I  can't believe you would disappoint so many people and leave them looking for a better solution.

Why are the fits not the same? Do we have to upload all the fonts? What if I don't get all my work? I really liked the previous version.

every time I try and use the scheduler this morning I get this error message: 
Sorry, something went wrong licensing your Stock assets. Please try again in a few minutes.

 

I am using stock assets from the adobe express library. This is so frustrating, and it is taking up a lot of time to troubleshoot and try and find alternative assets.

The removal of backgrounds/Editing has changed

It's no longer working. Edits are working/saving once you've done what you needed to

Hello, my friend, Are you Ok? I thinking that Adobe Express is like "replacement of the Microsoft Office". It's like Canvas, but it has more things; making with AI or on pratice. It's has a lot of capacity to has others resorces of the Adobe.

 

You have a good work. But the app dont have otimization. And It dont have organization. The funtions would be separate like this:

1. MENU FOR PRODUTION: here will have all funtions (video, photo...).

2. MENU SOCIAL: here will have produtions of the people.

3. MY PRODUTIONS: I dont need speak about this, do I?

 

Maybe you can do this new update in a more well-known graphics engine that uses a more compatible and easy-to-use programming language, like C#. That way, you'll spend less resources and increase user growth. Well, I hope I helped. Bye and God bless you 😉

Subject: Adobe Express – Disappointed with the New Experience

 

Hi Adobe team,

 

I’m writing to share my frustration with the current state of Adobe Express. What was once a fast, intuitive, and smooth tool has now become confusing, clunky, and far from user-friendly. The recent updates have significantly worsened the experience.

 

Here are a few major issues:

1.Lack of Intuitiveness: The new interface is difficult to navigate. Simple tasks take longer, and the layout feels overcomplicated rather than streamlined.

2.iPad Still Locked to Landscape Mode: It’s 2025—why is Adobe Express still limited to landscape mode on iPad? This restricts flexibility and usability, especially for quick edits or social media workflows on the go.

3.No Option to Choose App Version: Why can’t we choose which version of Adobe Express we want to use? It’s clear that older versions still exist on the backend. Allowing users to opt in or out would be an easy feature to build. It’s frustrating to be forced into a version that doesn’t suit our workflow.

 

Honestly, what’s the point of pushing a less functional version without giving users a choice? Many long-time users are disappointed, and this change feels like a step backward rather than an upgrade.

 

I hope Adobe considers user feedback seriously and reintroduces flexibility, speed, and simplicity to the app.

exactly, also adobe remove slider resolution option for exporting photo image  , so quality of exporting photo get degraded.

Before this new adobe express mobile app, I was able to download photo in very high quality and high resolution (approximately 15 to 20 MB size) by slider resolution option, but in new adobe express mobile app, I can't do this.. my exporting image get very low resolution and low quality (approximately 1 MB to 1.5 MB size only)

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you're facing. Images should indeed be exported at the resolution set for your project. Based on your description, it seems like the files may have been downsized to a lower resolution when they were migrated. Typically, during migration, two copies are created: one in "My Stuff" and the other in the [Originals] folder.

For us to properly investigate the issue, we would need access to both versions of the files to compare the dimensions and report the issue to our developers.

These updates are stupid, instead of being able to just click text, You've added multiple clicks for EVERY process.... how does this save me time when creating anything? It makes my process so much slower. was this a requested feature? to hide all actions under like 6 buttons and have TONS of submenus?

My adobe express online do not load (on PC), I already deactivated firewalls, ereased cookies, and did the reset dance once and again, every time you make an update this program is hevier and I have more problems with it.
