Hi @michelle365, Thanks for reaching out, and apologies for the delayed response.

We wanted to check whether you’re still experiencing the issue where auto-generated captions shift position in Adobe Express.

Could you please confirm if the captions are now maintaining consistent alignment, or if you’re still seeing lines jump higher or lower despite the same settings?

If the issue persists, feel free to share a screen recording or example project, as that will help us investigate further. We’re here to help!

    Best!

    Hi @michelle365,

Thanks for reaching out! We’re sorry to hear about this. Could you please let us know if you are seeing this after you upload the video, and when you play or after downloading the video?

Please try using the other suggested browsers (Safari, Microsoft Edge, and Google Chrome) or incognito mode to see if it makes a difference.

Also, try clearing the browser's cache and cookies, and restarting the browser and try again. For more information on how to clear cache and cookies check this link- https://adobe.ly/4a5ipUF and how to use incognito mode- https://adobe.ly/4a2UzZV

Let us know if that helps.

    Regards,

    Tarun

I’m experiencing this issue after uploading the video using the Caption Video quick action on the Adobe Firefly page as well as in Adobe Express. I’m working in Google Chrome and have tried multiple caption styles, but there is always at least one caption that becomes misaligned.

When I attempt to correct the misalignment, it causes the other captions to shift out of alignment.

I haven’t tried clearing my cache yet, but I will do that next. I’m willing to try anything that will help me deliver this project to my client on time.

Hi Michelle! Sorry that you are having problems with this. Does your video have one or more faces in it? The caption service has a feature where it moves the captions in order to avoid overlapping with human faces, and so I’m wondering if that is what’s causing the behavior you are seeing. Let me know.
