WHY Must you KEEP touching your products?

Buttons are constantly going missing,

now the media button vanished, 

Changes to software,

 

LEAVE THE SOFTWARE ALONE, IT'S MAKING YOU MONEY, ISN'T IT?

Please stop touching it. Our design team is struggling with adobe because of this, PLEASE STOP. It works, don't touch it, invest something new with that software engineering budget, stop touching stuff.

Same. I love technological growth, but it HAS to be better. I've seen posts like this for awhile and never thought I'd be one of the people to leave. The value seemed to outweigh the issues. I'm at my tipping point. The amount of times this software has embarrassed me in front of my peers and other professional settings is more damaging than staying. Constantly having to change my workflow because there's an unannounced and usually unnecessary change. It's a total slap in the face to people who pay SO MUCH MONEY. Not only do I have my own professional account but my company has enterprise and I had to consider what it will look like when I walk it back saying this isn't the option for us, and still, it's time to cut our losses. I HATE looking into other option, but even if they're not as feature heavy, I'll be much more relieved with consistency and transparency.

What was once easy is now a pain, to get to design assets you have to click 3-4 buttons compared to having it on the side bar for easy access... maybe allow shortcuts? And don't allow it to refresh every time you tap out of it to your project.

THANK YOU ! This tool is worst and worst,  every week something change in the worst way possible, copy and paste issues are not resolved, a lot of bugs. Our design team decided to stop working on it from the next content because we lose a lot of time.

Hola! Con motivo de dejar mi opinión, por muchas razones elijo siempre Adobe Express en lugar de Canva que es tan conocido. Siempre agradezco que sean siempre tan atentos a todos los pedidos de la comunidad y siempre están actualizando Adobe Express! 😊

Pero hoy, me encuentro incómoda trabajando. Para agregar un texto, tengo que ir a buscar en el menú derecho +, agregar Texto. Luego, para agregar la forma de botón tengo que ir a Efectos, luego desplazarme hacia abajo, ir a Ver más y recién ahi se me abre un desplegable para poder agregar el efecto.

Ya antes era incómodo que si deslizás el mouse por alguna opcion del menu te aparece una ventana que no se va hasta que no haces clic afuera o tarda mucho en irse.

Además, los deslizables quedan como "bloqueados" a veces y se "bugguean" y tenes que hacer clic otra vez en el deslizable o forzar el número y apretar enter para que te deje seguir editando porque sigue el mouse aunque esta fuera de la ventana.


Realmente es muy enogorroso, tenes que abrir miles de ventanitas, clics, desplegables, etc, para algo que antes era en 2 o 3 pasos, ahora tenes que hacer cada vez más pasos.

Entiendo el objetivo de reorganizar todo, pero el menu funciona horrible y encima tener que estar lidiando con las ventanitas y hacer miles de pasos para agregar una forma. Y encima, si querés cambiar la forma (color, tamaño, lo que sea), tenes que volver a hacer los miles de pasos otra vez.

 

Sinceramente, pierdo mucho tiempo haciendo algo que es tan simple como una forma y ya. Las ventanas "auxiliares" por favor, corrijanlas o saquenlas, porque no funcionan bien. No se cierran quedan ahi molestando y uno ya hizo clic o ya terminó.

 

Por ejemplo, si elegis un color, una vez que elegiste, se queda abierto. Hasta que no apretas en el boton de cerrar, sigue abierto.

 

Son detalles, pero te hace estar pensando constantemente porque la maldita ventana no se cerró jajajajaj

 

¡Gracias por todo el esfuerzo! Pero quería dejar mi impresión y que seguramente haya más de uno que esto le pasa.

Why did you guys DESTROY a perfectly working app

Now we have to ADD basic things to do basic things, things are getting harder to find wasting time searching


Sure we find them, than its okay again but than you do another update REMOVING or hiding another function

Why is Media and Text need to be an extra 2 or 3 button click option now, its TEXT......

The left side has 3 buttons and a + button now, with a mASSIVE Vertical blank spot meanwhile the next frame is full to 60% down so the REMOVING text made no sense but make things take longer

 

Are we TRYING to push everyone to Affinity and Leonardo art apps over Adobe?

WHY??!! This so-called upgrade has destryed my faith in Adobe understanding its Express customer base! Maybe your goal is to self-destruct, cuz I'm out! You've ruined the program -- it should be renamed Adobe Disaster.......

I came here searching because I haven't used the web app for Express in about a week, and I came back to be utterly confused trying to search for the MOST BASIC functions. Like, where did the media tab go? Where is my button to create a text element? I literally spent 15 minutes trying to find something that was 0.5 seconds worth of time to click on and find and now it must be hidden behind some stupid menu somewhere. Seriously, what is this crap? Can someone tell me where the hell the media tab went? I don't care about the stupid "Instagram Square Post" or all of the AI crap. I want literally the most basic functions to be right there where they were.

You burried all of the tools in the new update making adobe express be more like adobe depressed. What's the point of having the web app if the design goes against the basic principle of reducing clicks in UI? This update significantly increases the time needed to create stuff. Please at least allow the side bar to be customized so that if you guys choose to screw things up that we can at least work around it.

I don't mind it being accesible in other places but can you put the upload image and the add text BACK to the side-rail and not a couple of clicks away?

 

We're trying to move fast here...this UI change slowing me down...

Sorry to hear that you are finding the constant changes infuritating. Agree that this is something the team needs to take into consideration even as it makes tweaks guided solely by the desire to make the product better and approachable for eveyone (including new users who aren't familiar with the interface).

 

As for your immediate queries, you can access the Media and Elements functions by first clicking the + Add button; here's a screenshot

The entirety of this issue isn't where it's located. It's that you've taken features that were just one click away, and made then now 2 clicks away for no reason at all. There is an entire white bar on the side of the screen for MENU options. Now it's an empty white bar and you've just condensed it all into the "+" button. It's seriously infuriating, and users have been screaming this from the rooftops since you started condensing everything. Is anybody actually listening?

Understood; my response was for some other users on this thread who were having trouble finding the functionality.

 

Please rest assured that the product team is aware of this feedback. Qualitative feedback collected across forums from users that span the full range of skills/expectations, in conjunction with quanititative metrics related to this change will determine where we ultimately land. This may very well not be to your liking or mine (tbh, I equally dislike the new group selection behavior you've objected to elsewhere) but we have to trust the decision-making process.
