Acrobat DC--How do I remove the signature block for those who initial a document?

With Acrobat DC, when I send a document to multiple people for their initials (and one person to sign), those who are to initial the document have a signature block placed at the end of the document also. What do I need to do so only their initials are on the document?

I have the same question. In my case, I send documents to sign and sometimes they come with changes. I need those changes to be initialized without the need of another signature box. It used to work until recently and now if I put the initial boxes only I get the message below, which is related to the comment above. I'd like to be as before where the initials would show the date and that's it, nothing else added to the document. Appreciate the help.

I found that with Acrobat DC you can only assign signers and not approvers.  When an individual is listed as a signer, Adobe requires a signature block even though you pulled over their initial box.

The error message you posted is because there isn't a signature box listed for each person you're sending the document to.  You likely have am initial box for the person(s) you want to initial and one signature box for the person you want to execute the document.

Hard to explain, hopefully this helps.

Thanks for the explanation. Yes, that's what I thought, however until recently we could add just the initials without adding a signature box. For our cases sometimes people that had previously signed a document just need to acknowledge a change and they initial that, we don't need a signature box. It was common for us to add initials until we started getting that error message about a week or so ago. I wonder if that's something that can be reverted back or changed in settings were fields can be added without the need of a signature box. The system should be able to tell if that person previously signed it.
