Acrobat Sign Developer Edition – Activation Email Not Received and Unexpected Username

Hello,

I’m having an issue with the Acrobat Sign Developer Edition registration and I would appreciate some help.

I registered for the free Acrobat Sign Developer Edition and received the confirmation message stating that I would receive an email within approximately 30 minutes with a link to my new Developer account.

It has now been more than 24 hours, and I still have not received the activation email. I have already checked my spam/junk folders.

There is also something else I do not understand. I received an email from Adobe Community saying:

“We’re glad to have you, wise_developere16c”

I do not recognize “wise_developere16c” as my name or as a username that I chose. I’m not sure whether this is simply an automatically generated Adobe Community username or whether it is related to my Acrobat Sign Developer Edition registration.

Could someone please help me with the following?

  1. Check whether my Acrobat Sign Developer Edition registration was successfully created or is still pending.

  2. Confirm whether the “wise_developere16c” account/username is simply my Adobe Community profile or if it is related to the Developer Edition account.

  3. Let me know how I can access or activate my Acrobat Sign Developer Edition account.

  4. If necessary, I can provide the email address used during registration privately.

I already have an active Adobe Acrobat Pro subscription.

Thank you very much for your assistance.

    Hi Meenakshi,

    Thank you for clarifying this.

I understand now that my current email address is already associated with the Acrobat Sign individual plan included with my Acrobat Pro subscription, and that this is why I did not receive the Developer Edition activation email.

I have another email address that has never been registered with Acrobat Sign.

Could you please check and confirm whether this email address is eligible for the Acrobat Sign Developer Edition before I register?

Thank you very much for your help.

    Hi wise_developere16c,

Thank you for sharing your email address. We have checked your account and found that it is already registered for an Acrobat Sign individual plan as part of your Acrobat Pro subscription. Unfortunately, you cannot use the same email address for two different Acrobat Sign accounts.

To register for the Developer edition of Acrobat Sign, you will need to use a different email address that has not been registered before. If you'd like, you can share the new email address with us, and we can check and confirm its eligibility.

Regarding the email you received with name “wise_developere16c”, it is your community profile name. You may have received an email from the community when you created your profile, which includes the name assigned to it.

Let us know if you have any questions or need help.

    Thanks,

    Meenakshi
