Adobe Acrobat 2020 pro will not allow me to sign document

I just installed Acrobat Adobe 2020 pro yesterday, prior to this I used Acrobat Adobe XI for created and editing our work forms. When I open our travel form and make an attempt to sign the pdf document I get this message: "The document cannot be signed in its current state. please save the document, close it, reopen it, and then attempt to sign again." See the attached pic. I've tried a few things on my own such as unchecking Enable Adobe Javascript. It fixes the issue, but then it will not calculate any of my fields.
