Question

Adobe Acrobat Sign is automatically adding a signature block at the bottom of my PDF that includes the signer’s email and timestamp. This happens even though I did not add this field in my template.

I only have a signature field placed in my document, but when I uncheck “Required,” Acrobat Sign inserts this extra signature section at the bottom of the page.

How can I stop Acrobat Sign from automatically adding this bottom signature block? Is there a setting or workflow that controls this behavior?

    Hi Kajani,

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry for the delay in response.

As I mentioned earlier, the signature block appears when you uncheck the required option for the signature field added to the form. This is intentional behaviour. If you assign the signer role to the recipient, the form must include a required signature field. This is why the signature field is automatically added at the end.

Please share more information about the workflow you are trying to implement so we can provide the correct information/ steps.
