Adobe Sign developer account added to the organisation, but the 'DEMO USE ONLY' status remains

I have added the Adobe Sign developer account to my organisation and assigned a licence (Adobe Acrobat Pro). However, when I send signatures, the status ‘DEMO USE ONLY’ is still added. How can I remove this? Thank you very much!

    Hi Nürnberger Baumpflege,

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry about the trouble caused.

We have checked your account associated with the email linked to your community profile. It appears that you have used the same email address for both accounts. Since you first registered the email address with the Developer account, it has not been updated for the Acrobat Sign account connected to Adobe Acrobat Pro. Please note that each account can only be associated with one email address, which is why you are seeing the “DEMO USE ONLY” status.

To resolve this issue, you will need to change the email address for your Developer account first. Once that is done, you will be able to use the Acrobat Sign plan with your Acrobat Pro subscription. Here are the steps to change the email for your Developer account:

    • Open a web browser and sign in to your Acrobat Sign account using this link: https://adobe.ly/3OcOd3x. Use the email address and password you created when you registered for the Developer account.

    • Once logged in, click on the profile icon and select "Profile Settings."

    • Under "Personal Preferences" in the left-hand pane, select "My Profile."

    • Check if you have the option to edit your email address.

    • Please use an alternate email address that has not been registered with Acrobat Sign before.

After changing your email address, please sign out and close the browser window. Then, open this link: https://adobe.ly/4tibUq3 and sign in using your Adobe ID and password for Acrobat Pro. Go to the E-sign tab and select "Request Signature." Try sending a test document and check if you still receive the “DEMO USE ONLY” message. If not, you should be able to use the desktop application to send documents without any issues.

If you have any questions or need further assistance, please let us know.

    Thanks,

    Meenakshi
