Adobe Sign In Person Signature using Image Field Type for Photo

I'm attempting to add a field to a PDF form that lets users either upload an image from their mobile device or use the camera feature while filling out the form in Adobe Sign (image field type if possible). I'm using Adobe Pro to create the form and Adobe Sign to gather signatures and complete the form. I managed to add an image to the form during the signing process within Adobe Sign, but it sends the form via email for signature. I need this functionality using the 'Get Signature in Person' option in the Adobe Sign app on a mobile device. Does anyone know how to achieve this?

If you use the Get signature in person, the image must be on the device. A signer cannot add an image from another device to the document.

We can suggest the correct steps if you can share more information about the workflow.

The image is on the device. Here's my workflow:

1) Once click on 'Get signature in person', choose the document on device

2) Add the email of the person who will sign the doc.

3) Add a message

4)Tap 'Sign' and hand device over to signer to complete the fields on form and sign the document

5) Click 'Finish signing'

Since the form doesn't allow a field type of image, I can't upload a photo of the signer from the device at that time. But, if I clicked on 'Options' after adding the message, I could preview the form and add a photo from device to the form. However, this emails the document to the doc signer for signing rather than handing over to them for in-person signature.

Sorry about the delay in getting back to you.

When you hand the device to the signer, please check if he gets the options at the top in the Sign window. It shows the Draw, Image, and Camera icons to select from.

If the options do not appear, you need to check with the account Administrator in your organization to see if they are disabled from getting the signature image. Please refer to the information about the settings in the following help document: https://adobe.ly/4jXA2tW.
