Adobe Sign - Update Document in Agreement

Hello everyone!

I would like to find out if it's possible to update a document of an agreement that was sent out for signature. The documentation does not specify anything of the sort, however it appears to be possible to do it via the UI like shown here:
https://helpx.adobe.com/ca/sign/using/modify-document-sent-for-signature.html

The documentation I'm referring to is this one:
https://secure.na1.echosign.com/public/docs/restapi/v6#!/agreements/updateAgreement

Thanks in advance!

CPerezM,

The option to edit the agreement while it is in flight is still available.  The agreement will not be available for edits if it has been signed or any other recipient role has completed their action. Please view this following video provided by Adobe for an overview on this option:  https://helpx.adobe.com/sign/how-to/adobe-modify-transaction.html

Is this possible using the API?

Hi Petefc,

Thank you for reaching out.

API is a part of the Enterprise plan which means the option to modify the document should be available if it meets the criteria as mentioned in the following help document: https://helpx.adobe.com/sign/using/modify-document-sent-for-signature.html.

As you have a question related to the API integration, it can be best answered by the experts.

Please get in touch with the Adobe Sign enterprise team via the steps suggested in the following help document: https://helpx.adobe.com/sign/using/adobesign-support-resources.html. They will help you with the steps to make the changes.

Let us know if we can be of any help.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
