AdobeSign - Changing Signing Order

It seems it is not possible to change or amend the signing order on a document once it has been sent out for signtaure. I've read threads as far back as 2015 where this was causing issues for customers - does anyone know if it is part of AdobeSign's roadmap to change this or, what the logic is behind not allowing it at present?
