Audit report date and time query

Hi.

I sent an agreement for signature which the client claims they never saw.   I sent them the audit report showing the agreement was sent to them and it shows they received the email and viewed it.    However the viewing of the email is shown as 11.45 pm which is before the email was sent to them at 12.56 pm.   Does anyone know what is going on here?  Thank you
