Hi, I need assistance with an Adobe Acrobat template that opens with Acrobat DC. The form requires several signatures and a separtate date field  for each to be signed/completed through Adobe Acrobat Sign (Signature block not desired). I need the form to be able to autofill the date field when each individual signs the document. Not advance in Java etc. but I might be able to follow some directives. Can you please assist?

Hi KayOrtega,

Thank you for reaching out.

Please let us know if you will send the document via Acrobat Sing for signature or another method.

Do you wish the date field gets auto-filled in the document with the current date when the signer signs the document?

It would be helpful if you could share the template of the form you are creating and the workflow you wish it would work in.

Let us know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Hi Meenakshi,

The document is sent via Acrobat Sign to collect the various signatures via a workflow. Not everyone signs the document the same day thus the date needs to autofill to reflect the correct date when each person signs displaying the following desired format: MM/DD/YYYY.

I have attached the document. The signatures/dates lines required to be formated can be found under the "change of account distribution" and under "approval" segments.

Thanks you in advance.
