Can I date an adobe sign document after the parties have signed it?

Hi,

I frequently have documents that I want to date after the parties sign them (say, Oct __, 2019, and then fill in the blank when the parties are ready to close a deal). Is there a way to allow the dating of a document after the parties have signed the document?

When I do as suggested it wants to add a signature block for me - I am not signing the document only dating it is there any way around this?

Hi Lukec,

As you need to add the date in the form after the parties sign the document, you may add the form field for it and add yourself as the last recipient.

Once the document is signed and filed in Adobe Sign, the document gets encrypted. You cannot make any changes in that document.
