Can I get a witness to sign with an esignature

Hello, I would like to know if a document can be signed by person A, and also a witness (of whom I don't know the address).  Is this possible? Adobe help online says I can do it by sending the document twice to Person A, who can then delegate it for a witness signature, and the Adobe support person I spoke to says I can't.  I am tending to believe the support person as I am not able to replicate what Google Adobe says, but I thought I'd try here just in case.
