Question

Can you send a document that already contains e-signatures to someone else to also esign?

We sent a document to be e-signed by multiple people, however, we failed to send to another signator. As such, we have a complete document that is missing one signature. Are we able to send it to that last signator to sign, or by doing so, do we lose our certification on the other signatures? - In other words, do we have to obtain everyone's signatures again?

Hi Melanie28175210q0bl,

Thank you for reaching out.

If the document is already signed, it is impossible to send it again to the next signer. Once the document is signed and filed, it gets encrypted. You can not make any changes to that document.

If you need the signature from one more signer, you will need to send the document again to all the signers.

Let us know if you have more questions.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
