im unable to find color change tab when i use sign tab.

Correct answer Amal.

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

When you use the Fill & Sign / Sign tool in Acrobat, the color change option is limited by design. Unlike comments or annotations, signatures don’t always show a separate “color” tab.

Here are a few things you can try:

Typed signature:
Click inside the typed signature field, then look at the toolbar at the top. If color options are available, you’ll see a small color picker there. If not, the default color will be used.

Drawn or image-based signature:
These signatures keep the original color and can’t be changed after placement. To use a different color, you’ll need to:

  • Remove the existing signature
  • Re-add the signature and choose the preferred color during creation (for drawn signatures)

If you can share whether you’re using Acrobat Reader or Acrobat Pro, and whether the signature is typed, drawn, or an image, we can guide you better.
