Changed user login email - lost all old documents

I recently started this job and changed my email and information to my name as opposed to the girl who held this job before me. Customer service changed the name as well as login email for me yesterday, and now I can view no documents sent from the previous email. Is there a way to access these older documents or has Adobe lost them forever?
