Changes all signature boxes to the same person

Recently, if I want 2 people to sign, Adobe changes all signature boxes to the last name clicked.

Example:  I want (#1) John Smith and (#2) Mary Smith to sign.

* I put a signature box in place for John

* I put a signature box in for Mary

* ADOBE changes the first box to Mary also.   All boxes wind up with one name or the other .

anyone else having this problem?
