Characters being added

When entering the message an the Subject and Message section prior to sending the delivered messages are having "/n/ " inserted for carriage returns e.g. if I type

Hi

Please sign the attached.

Thanks

Jason

it will be delivered as

Hi/n/Please sign the attached./n/Thanks/n/Jason

Any ideas in the community?
