Date Calculation

Hi everyone,

Hoping I can get some help with date calculation questions I can't figure out. Apologies in advance if this is simple question. 

1) I am working on an agreement template that takes effect the first of the prior month of when its signed (regardless of the day of the month that its being signed). The agreement is for 24 moths.

For example: If the agreement is signed any day in March, 2019, the actual terms of the agreement would then be:

Start Date: February 1, 2019

End Date: February 1, 2021

What would be the correct function to accomplish this?

2) In the same agreement template, there is another date function I am trying to figure out. What would be the function to get the date 7 months after the start date?

For example: Using the agreement terms above of start date February 1, 2019, the date 7 months after would be September 1, 2019.

I would like the agreement template to auto populate these three dates:

Start Date: February 1, 2019

End Date: February 1, 2021

7 Months from Start Date: September 1, 2019

For context: The agreement reads something like this:

• We are partnering with the company for 24 months, starting the first day of the month of the first monthly journal submitted. (Ex. If you sign the agreement any day in March 2019, you must submit a monthly journal for February 2019. Thus, the start date is January 1, 2019 and the end date would be January 1, 2021).
• After successfully completing 6 months of partnership, you will unlock some resources. These resources will be unlocked on September 1, 2019.
