Date Format Changed in Signature Block

It appears something has changed with the date format in the signature block of Adobe Sign. The format we would always see after a document was signed would be e.g. Dec 4, 2025. Now it's showing up 4/12/25. We figured out a workaround on how to manually change the date format but we are working with a high volume of documents that require signatures and was wondering if there is a change that can happen at the admin level so it automatically defaults to e.g. - Dec 4, 2025.

Hi @kind_friendship3699,

Thank you for reaching out! The date format shown in the signature block is controlled by your account or group settings in Acrobat Sign. If you’ve noticed a change, it’s likely due to the default date format configuration.

To review or update this setting:

  1. Sign in as an account administrator.
  2. Navigate to Global Settings.
  3. Under Set a default time zone and date format, you’ll find a drop-down menu with common date formats.
  4. Select the format you prefer and apply it to signature stamps.

This configuration is applied automatically when a date is requested, and no predefined format exists in the form. Please note that this feature is available for enterprise license plans and can be set at both account and group levels.
