Date Tag Visible After Dated ({{*Dte_es_:signer2:date}})

Seemingly randomly, the date will appear over the tag with both the tag and the date visible.  Any idea why this is happening and how to correct?  [Created in Word and saved as PDF, then sent through Adobe Acrobat Sign.]
